Making mandalas is an effective and helpful way to get in touch with what cannot be expressed or felt otherwise. It is a way to see what is hidden. The idea is to start with a blank piece of paper and create a mandala design that reflects how things are from moment to moment. Mandalas are not planned out in advance. They arise organically and spontaneously. Rest assured that you do not need to be a trained artist. Here is what you will need:

  • blank piece of paper of any size
  • pens/markers/pencils/paint or any other art media of your choosing
  • compass/protractor/ruler or any other shape maker, but these tools are not required
